Last Twistercup was a New Year´s event, held indoors at Hamburg Model Ship Basin (HSVA) with 22 boats in the starter field.

Ending a winning streak of Mr. Hans-Uwe Schnoor, Mr. Michael Wächter of SDC conquered the title of Twistercup XII Champion. It was a close head-to-head race, but after four match races Mr. Wächter was one point ahead of second best, Mr. Henning Kuhlmann of Becker Marine Systems. The defending champion Mr. Hans-Uwe Schnoor of HSVA finished third.
