The small Towing Tank of the Hamburg Ship Model Basin (HSVA) was again a very appropriate location for the fourth Twistercup. A total of 18 Ruddertwister boats fought for the cup and had to compete in four qualification races to advance into the final round of the best 8 boats.

Stockmaritime once again did a great job of preparing the tank with the installtion of four powerful wind machines. With the enthusiatic help of HSVA´s staff, the wind machines were installed in such a way, that the whole tank distance could be used. The challenging course demanded a lot from the pilots. With the last boat sailing over the finish line after the final race, IBMV´s Mr. Thomas Guiard with Twister Cupper No. 15, "Racer Pro", was the new champion.
