Twistercup V
Unfortenatly, the Twistercup in Scharmbeck in April 2010 was cancelled. Instead, Twistercup V took again place indoor at HSVA in November 2010. A total of 17 Ruddertwister boats fought for the cup and had to compete in four qualification races to advance into the final round of the best 8 boats.
This Twistercup developed into an internal HSVA fight for the crown. Both HSVA Cuppers took advantage of the well-known towing tank waters and fought successfully against strong competetors to win first place with skipper Hans-Uwe Schnoor ("Newswave 2") and second place with skipper Mario Wulf ("Newswave"). Twistercup legend Henning Kuhlmann finished third place and the defending champion of Twistercup IV, Thomas Guiard of IBMV finished fifth.
